My girlfriend and are backpaking in the superstitions at the very end of March. I've been on a couple day hikes their a few years ago. We will be out 4-5 days and 3-4 nights. I got the Hikers guide to the superstitions. Is their more to see and better views in the western or eastern superstitions? Should we split our time between the two?? I am possibly thinking of a two night loop hike in the western and a two night loop hike in the eastern superstitions. Can anyone help me narrow down my search to find the best trails that will give me the best overview of the superstitions. I'm talking about a couple of loops to give me the best mountain vistas/views, flowers, historical sites, waterfalls/rivers , good camping spots etc.

There is alot to choose from any help is much appreciated!!
Thanks
Storymaker/Phil

You cant go wrong anywhere in the superstitions just pick a loop route that is your desired mileage and go for it!

Both are nice, but the eastern supes are generally considered more scenic due to the fact it has trees. The western portion has some incredible geology though.

A few ideas

Anywhere near Reavis Ranch could involve a side trip to Circlestone.
LaBarge Canyon has Chuck Aylor's old place.
Roger's Canyon has great ruins.

All of these are pretty darn scenic too.
