How crowded is West Clear Creek compared to Fossil Springs? And what is the road condition to the trailhead, I want to confirm that it is car okay. Wanted to go somwhere as cool as Fossil Creek but with fewer people, and hopefully fewer morons.

Easier access + easier hike - not as cool = you decide
You simply have to travel a little farther then the groups, not too difficult.
it is easily doable in a car

It's easily doable, but it'll rattle your bolts loose. Or maybe not, but the washboarded road sure is annoying.
Since somebody decided to cut down the tall stump that provided the take-off for the best of the three rope swings at Fossil Creek (

[-X :yuck:), I would say the recreational value of Fossil Creek (not including the scenery) has greatly diminished.

I know what you mean. That made me mad when I saw that stump was gone. But I still like to climb up on top of that big rock and jump off into the nice swimming hole. Fun times. I also like the jump into the "toiletbowl" which is what I call that isolated pool that is connected to the creek by that underwater tunnel.

haha Im a bit too cautious to jump off the dam. It looks like you have to jump out far!
Do the crowds clear up at Fossil Creek on weekdays? I might head back there I just dont want to fight crowds on a Tuesday and Wednesday. Old habits die hard.
