2008 How much have you done this year?

I was looking over my History for this year and saw that I am already up to 154 miles hiked and over 50,100 feet gained and lost. I'm doing a much better job of tracking my hikes this year. Everything worth mentioning appears to be accounted for.
What are you up to? Now is your chance to brag. You know you want to.

I'm doing an online school this year, and am embarrassingly out of the loop. However, I am just sitting down with maps to get a 2-night loop near Hannagan planned to do with some friends. I dayhike a lot near my town, to save on gas, same trails over and over, but go off-trail a lot, too, just for some variety. This year I haven't kept track of miles, though.

2008:
57 trips totalling 93.4 miles, with 2,311 ft of elevation change.
Interestingly, I'm in the top 5 for trips logged, but am the lowest-milage hiker in the top ten. That's what I get for pacing the bridge day in and day out, eh?

I've hardly gone at all this year. 4 or so hikes, maybe 30 miles at most...

I don't keep track, but if I did, you'd all be jealous!

According to the GPS log I just posted, I got 22000 ft of elevation gain in my last trip alone
My actuals are only: 106.6 and 17825 so far this year, I've been slacking, of course I missed a month and a half to being sick

April has been a seriously weak month. I rocked January and March, though.

No way... there is this guy (maybe the same guy) I see on CB every morning who I have seen pass me a couple times. He must go up and down the echo side about 4 times a day.

Hehe, I'm not hitting the trails quite as hard this year... I did hit 1000 miles for both 2006 & 2007, but I'm 239 miles so far this year. I'll be happy with 600-700 this year since I'm trying to work more climbing trips in and an occasional dive trip.

And I thought I beat trails to death.

I've only done a few miles this year, but I think we should be able to multiply our miles & AEG by our age to get a true measure of our effort. In which case, I'm beating all you young bucks. I've got to sneak out when my nurse isn't watching. That should give me some bonus points. My avatar is from years ago when I was a young man.
