Fourth of July weekend

Hi! How is everyone doing? We are planning a trip to either the Black River or KP Creek for Fourth of July, Thursday through Sat 6th or Sun 7th. A bit far, maybe five or six hours away, but a couple of gems nonetheless. They are both open and there is WATER! Lots of it!
It will definitely provide the backpacking/wilderness experience that we are all so desperately seeking.
It will be a blast! Any takers?
