Pipeline Trail to Ballantine Cabin, Sunday June 8

This trail goes from the end of FR1704 south to Ballantine Cabin. It looks like its about 6 miles RT and 400-500' elevation drop toward the beginning. This should make this a shorter, doable hike for the impending hot weather. This will also continue the theme lately of doing little known trails and posting the GPS route on HAZ. FR1704 is listed on the Tonto Forest map as a 4WD road. This may make the entire trip a little more interesting depending on how much 4WD is necessary. I'm thinking of a later start time of 6:30 am from my house.
