I just noticed the National Weather Service is predicting a 40% chance of Isolated thunderstorms for Phoenix next Friday.

Will probably just be thunder minus the storms with our luck as the average monsoon doesn't start until July 7th or something :?

However, the mention sure is nice!

Also wanted to pass along...
Yesterday during the 11am fire briefing Paxton(?) mentioned the history of forest fires in the US. Said a 4 MILLION acre fire roared up Montana into Canda in just four days! I believe in 1910 he said.

I thought that rather interesting

Here's some info on that fire, it was known as the "Big Blow-Up".

Everybody pray for that 40% chance to become a 100% reality!

Thanks for sharing the article Mike. I first heard about this fire several weeks ago on PBS.
40% chance of rain? I have not been keeping an ear on the weather reports and this is the first I've heard this great news. However, I must share I am concerned about lightning.

As of right now, ( sunday morning 2:30 am ) Weather.com has isolated thunder storms at 40% for both Wednesday and Saturday of next week for Phoenix.

Fingers crossed?

It rained briefly here about an hour ago; it figures, 'cause I'd just finished washing the Jeep and was in the process of washing the motorhome. Took about two minutes for the sidewalk to dry.

You know everytime I was my truck it rains. So if we could just get everybody to wash their car today we might stir up a storm! :P

BTW, If you know any entomologists, tell them to start developing a new career 'cause there ain't no more bugs left in the world.....they all committed suicide on the front of my Jeep and motorhome! :x
