I'm going to start at the Sunrise Access Area TH at the end of Via Linda and hike west to the junction with the Lost Dog Wash Trail and maybe do a lasso loop, out and back. I would like to make the hike in the 10-12 mile range but need to be back home by 1:30pm. Early start from my house at 6am, due to the shorter drive and late sunrise this time of year.

This is gonna have to be more like 8-9 miles. The Iron Man Challenge is on 87 that day, and there are lane restrictions on the 101 and by the 101/202 junction. I can still do this but I'm gonna need to be done hiking by noon at the latest. FYI Joe (and whoever else might be interested).
