Taurus .357 revolver w/ holster

My wife bought me a new revolver for Christmas to carry back packing and I have no reason to keep two firearms in the house. This is a stainless steel, factory ported barrel, .357 revolver with a unique feature that makes it great for backpacking, it has a concealed hammer so you can't accidentally catch it on something and hoo hoo poker it. You also have the option of practicing at the shooting range with .38 special ammo to save some money, it can shot either caliber. The retail on this revolver is about $380, I will sell mine with a $60 leather holster for $325 or $300 without the holster. If you want to research, it is a Model 605. I have no more than 20 rounds through it total. It's strictly for home protection, and back packing protection.

I have photos that I can PM you if you are interested. I don't think we need gun photos all over the classified forum.

NOTE: I know this can be a sensitive topic on a hiking forum. I will not get into a firearm debate so I sincerely apologize if this post upsets you. I promise it's a one time selling attempt to see if any hikers are in the market. :scared:

im not upset, its a tool just like a sleeping pad is a tool. although it would be hard to put a hole in a road sign with a sleeping pad, i bet i could do it. ;)
so, what is the barrel length?

It's a snub nose, 2.5". I suppose it would put a NICE hole in a road sign, I must admit though, I've never tested it.

I think your ad is perfectly legit. I'm an auto guy or I might even be tempted, myself... :)
