Some of the lakes up in the White Mountains sounds like a fun idea. Or the NP that's over on the East side of Roosevelt Lake.

This is starting to sound like some sort of perverted new "alternative lifestyle." You guys better do something "manly" while you're out there, like fish with dynamite, or take down a deer with just a knife and your bare hands.

The worst part about it is that when I read the word "hang" I thought about the nude hiking thread

"Idiots"...really? Come on, super squirrel...you know this stuff brightens your day
Can you put covered coals under one of those things to help keep yourself warm safely?

Ok, we apologize, but maybe to help us out you should define the word "hang" as the english language often has many meanings for the same word. And with this group perhaps even a few more...

I'm down whenever. It's fun to see other hammock setups. You should post it on the hammock forums too, we might get some folks from nearby states to come down for a weekend.

I get it now.
I've never given a hammock for backpacking much thought, but it is intriguing for summer trips.

Still funny, but now I am kind-of
but it is all Matt's fault for getting us off track
but also truly a new 21st century meaning for the word "hang"!

There must be something wrong with me, but the meaning was perfectly clear to me just from the title, despite my terrestrial status. Have fun, you arboreal primates.

Hank, you and I are from a different generation and have a lot of catching up to do. That is if we want to...
