Patching Down

Ive got a down vest that was punctured by catclaw, its a small hole, but leaking down like crazy none the less

I was thinking about picking up a rip-stop repair kit, and maybe putting a few thread through it, I was just curious if anybody on here had any novel ideas for doing a nice patch job?

I have a Moonstone down vest that somehow earned a hole while I was out on a trip - I had with me a fabric Band-Aid, the knuckle type. It's been on there at least 6 years and 3 washings - holding perfectly.

BUT - You sound as if you want it to appear more professional, so I'd recommend McNett Seam Grip. I doubt that you'll have a need to sew it.

wally put a band-aid on my truck door almost 2 years ago and its still there, must be made of kryptonite. So much for biodegradable :?

i'd just sew a HAZ patch over it
