Primitive Car Camping in Tonto National Forest

I plan on backpacking in the superstition wilderness, but I need a place to car camp the night before my hike. I plan on using the Peralta trail head off of Forest Service Road 77. I would prefer not to be in a campground, if that is allowed. Do any of you know this area well enough to suggest something?

There are myriad camping spots just off the Peralta Road on the way in. Camping is allowed most anywhere & (for now anyway) campfires are allowed.
Here is an example >> americansouthwest net/arizona/superstition-mountains/peralta-road_l html
Have fun!

I thought you were asking about places take your Edsel or Woody to go camping.

Thank you so much. That is exactly what I needed to know.
I'll let you all know how the trip goes.

I completed the hike. It was nice. I tried to post a triplog, but was informed that I did it in the wrong place. Perhaps I'll try again.
