Winter would be a good time to take the kids swimming in some hot springs. How many options are there out there where...
1. Nudity isn't a big problem
2. It's accessible to kids (shorter, easier hike).
Any ideas??

ok, now i'm starting to laugh at myself, thinking hot springs without nudity is like desert without cactus?

I'm checking an area out this weekend that supposedly has some hot springs, and pools running water etc. It doesn't seem like long or difficult hiking. I'll report back.

The hot springs I visited this weekend along the Colorado River just below Hoover dam were incredible (trip report and photos to come). Although I accessed them from the river on a canoe, several can be accessed from relatively short trails from the highway (Arizona Hot Spring and Goldstrike Canyon). I can't speak to nudity, however. There was one nekkid person in Goldstrike when I was there - but I don't know if it's a norm. There were no nekkids in Arizona Hot Spring, but we were there in the late afternoon. One plus of both is that there are some awsome backcountry campsites at either...
