Hi Everyone,

Last year I read an article in the Arizona Republic about a hike to a place called Devil's Hole. the destination sounded lovely, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere. I think it's east of Carefree somewhere.

Has the hike been covered on here and I just can't find it?

Devil's Hole is right on the Verde above Bartlett @ 33 55 29 x 111 40 25.

There's definitely a couple of Hell's Holes... I suppose the Hell's Hole in the Salome Wilderness would technically be east of Carefree, too.

The only Devils hole I have heard of is in Nevada. Just West of Parhump. My son and i drove out to it a few years ago.

Devil's Kitchen and Devil's Dining Room are sinkholes in the Sedona area. The Dining Room isn't much, but the Kitchen is sweet! Checkout pics on just about any photoset from the Soldier Pass Trail.
