A few of us did the Dutchman/Whiskey/Red Tanks/Dutchman/Terrapin/Bluff loop this W/E.
We clipped the whole route* with hand clippers (my right hand is now semi-permantly shaped like a claw) - with most of the work on Whiskey & Red Tanks. You may not be able to hike this route naked, but dam-near.
*-One of our group was out last week, or so, on the Terrapin Trail and there was a man working with lopers. Well, let me tell YOU, he did a bang-up job! South of the Terrapin Pass you will not be anywhere NEAR any catclaw with the job this guy did. he kicked some catclaw BUTT! :thanx: :thanx:
