may 30/31
annual trip to Maxwell trail. this leads into the heart of the canyons that start it all: West Clear Creek.
its a short but steep 3/4 mile to the water, where we will turn upstream and camp on an elevated bank about 1 mile from the trailhead.
elevation is 6000+ feet at camp.
temps expected to be mid seventies, low forties.
this trip was announced on the Arizona Backpacking Club and 5 of us are going, which leaves room for a few more of our friends from HAZ.
