Since REI [-X didn't quite get my measurement right, I ended up with too small of a backpack. I should have treated the purchase of this new backpack (bot April 11th online) as a piece of clothing and just spent the extra dollars and bot it at the store so I could easily take it back in case it didn't fit. Live and learn. :bdh:

I do love the pack but I am moving up to a medium. My Aura 65 has only been out in the wilderness for 3 nights. It's a good size for 2-3 nite trips or for those trying to go lighter weight with their gear.
Color: Brown Sugar
Wt: 3 lbs 7 oz
Vol: 3800 ci

You can read more about this pack at the Osprey site and of course there are reviews at various places. It retails at $239 or so. I'm not sure what to ask for money-wise and taking into account shipping so make me an offer. I'd like to get $185.

The same thing happened to me(I just ordered the wrong size) and I was able to just exchange it at the retail store. I used it for about a week.

If you're ever dissatisfied with an item, you may return or exchange your REI.com purchases at any REI store or through mail order. From rei.com (if you bought it on-line from them).

The operative phrase is "if you bot it on-line from them(REI)". At the time I was more interested in saving money and didn't thoroughly review the return/exchange policy of rockymountaintrail.com. Like so many things in life, "live and learn". ;)

Tibber.. 4 online stores that are wonderful for returns and carry Osprey gear: Backcountry.com - Campsaver.com - Prolitegear.com - Moosejaw.com
these fine online stores can be used for your next purchase(s) if you cannot find deals at REI.

that's a great pack line and you should have a buyer soon. craigslist may even work, believe it or not ;)

I've accepted that even tho REI may not be the lowest price, the return policy and their "do-good-give-back" projects make them my first stop for most everything.

I'd buy it from you but as all my online pals have heard me complain lately, "I'm broke!" So in about a month if you have not sold it I will contact you. (I am now working 7 days a week at two jobs!) But you will probably find a buyer sooner than that as it is a desirable item. As I am only 5'2" I think it would be the right size.
