Will be in Sedona for about 3 weeks and would appreciate suggestions for easy-medium difficulty day hikes within 15-20 miles of the Y. Want to keep hikes fairly tame because I live in PA and it takes a while to acclimatize to the heat. Was there for a month last year and did all the Vortex sites and some very short hikes, but want to do some new stuff. Bought the book Sedona Hikes with 130 trails in it, as well as the Emmitt Barks Cartography map- and want to whittle things down to the best of the best since my time is limited. Thanks :)

Bear in mind, it's going to be hot. Sunrise and sunset are the best times to hike most of those shorter trails.

Thanks for the link. That's one of the advantages of being on the East Coast. I can come out for a while and get up at sunrise and stay on my time zone. When I lived in Tucson always got up really early- only way to beat the heat and avoid the crowds on weekends.
