Sequoia NF & NP

So I'm heading to the Sierra for Labor Day for a combination car-camping and backpacking weekend. (Don't ask). I've never been to this part of California before, but am very excited to go. But I can't find a resource that even slightly resembles HAZ for this area, and its frustrating me. There's NF and NP websites that list names of trails, but there are no maps which indicate where those trails are located. I can also find plenty of nice maps with trails marked, but they're not named or numbered. Google Maps actually names the trails in the National Park, but not in the National Forest, which is where we'll be starting from.

I actually have an idea of where I want to go based on the Topo maps, but I have no idea what the trails are named or numbered. And that would really help as far as doing further research and acquiring the necessary permits for access.

Anybody got a good online resource for this area, or should I just head down to WWOM tomorrow and hope I can find what I'm looking for?

Well, you had better hurry up, but this guy sends his beautiful maps pretty quickly when you order them. He has a whole slew of maps: www.tomharrisonmaps.com

Thanks Elisabeth. His iPhone maps will do the job quite well for me. Instant download, and the price is right too! ($4.95)
