Hey Everybody,
Do any of you know if there's any water in the creek at Reavis Ranch this time of year?

I was out there labor day weekend and yes the creek is flowing. It's pretty much year round.

Wally's right. Campaign Creek looked good that weekend too, although I understand it's more seasonal...

Use the spring north of the orchard that has been described in some of my previous posts....

The bigger question is, "Are there apples at Reavis Ranch?"

We found maybe 6 trees with a good crop of apples. They won't last long.

Hi all. Newbie here. Thanks for all of the great information on the site and in the forum. I'm planning a hike from Rogers Throughs to Reavis Ranch later this month. Can anyone tell me if there are any reliable water sources along the way or at the ranch?

Welcome to HAZ!
You will cross a perennial creek at 6.5mi just after the Fireline Trail junction, about a half mile before the ranch. It runs the length of
Reavis Valley. It is
easiest to access near the FIreline and Reavis Gap junctions.
(I moved your post to this more appropriate thread)

As far as I know, there is water year round there (at the ranch). But, I may be wrong.

I have never seen the spring north of the orchard dry - search through my posts on RR and you will find it.

Water availability at Reavis Ranch

I am heading into Reavis Ranch after Thanksgiving dinner (hopefully burn off some Turkey) and was wondering how the water situation looked in Reavis Creek. I would just normally carry everything necessary but after seeing the perks trip report and others i figured someone might be able to help me! Sounds like you all had a blast and I may have to join in on version 2.0

There was plenty of water after the rain. The creek wasn't flowing like some of the others at perks mentioned. I don't think you will have any issues. I am jealous you are going there. Have fun.

Make sure you filter the water. Otherwise there may still be trace amounts of beer mixed in thanks to "3 Days in Paradise with the Hippie".

Hahaha we will make sure to filter the water but no promises that I won't hike a Kiltlifter in with me. Thanks for the info and as I said before sounded like a blast I will have to make it out for a hike soon!

I'd double filter the water if I were you.
