Hands Free Umbrella mount!

a guy from backpackinglight.com came up with this handy way to attach an umbrella to your pack straps, so that you can use your umbrella at the same time you may be using your hands for something else, like hiking poles or taking photos.
it involves 2 Camelbak Tube Traps faced opposite one another. I think most daypacks and backpacks have a webbing support that attaches to the shoulder strap to give it strength.. the tube trap requires a 3/4" webbing or smaller.
Here's a photo of the 'traps' attached to a ULA backpack, with a montbell ul trekking umbrella snapped into place.
