Hello HAZ. I'm thinking of a possible vacation to southern Utah, North Rim Grand Canyon. Late August, or early September. Would appreciate any info tips about Zion, Bryce Escalante, etc.
Also, good but moderate place to stay(motel, hotels) eat, etc.
Thanks again.

Hi Kevin, I spent four days in Bryce in June; you can check out photos here: http://photos.yahoo.com/bodew
Also did Canyon de Chelly, Zion and Yellowstone, but I have a motorhome so can't say about places to stay. Some good hiking trails in Bryce. The longest is Fairyland Loop, 8.3 miles, 900 feet into the canyon. You'll really enjoy it.

On the southern border of Utah you will find Paria River and Buckskin Gulch. This area is a must hike and you can easily find a place in paige (AZ) to stay the night.

However, August/Sept is a bad time to hike these due to flash floods.
