Sky Island Alliance Presents Acclaimed Photo Exhibition
Posted: Dec 01 2009 4:48 pm
In early 2009, the International League of Conservation Photographers sent a team of world-renowned photographers, with writers, filmmakers and scientists to the borderlands of the United States and Mexico to document the wildlife, ecology, and effect of immigration and the border wall on this imperiled landscape.
Throughout the month of December, 2009, Sky Island Alliance will be exhibiting the photographs, associated educational panels, and videos in Tucson, Tempe and Bisbee, Arizona. Public presentations about the exhibit are scheduled throughout the month, including speaking engagements by renowned Arizona photographer Jack Dykinga, and Krista Schlyer, curator of the exhibit (and the only photographer to attend the entire 24-day expedition).
