Humphrey at night during a full moon

All this talk of Humphrey and the hope of snow by the end of the year got me thinking about doing Humphrey at the next full moon on the 30th. I'd start out about 2:30 to 3 pm, and make the summit shortly after sunset. get down by 9 to 10. I won't bring a fancy diner, but I would bring something to eat. I will only do this if there is enough snow to have snow bowl open. I'll also want clear skies for the full moon and hopefully it won't be too windy. If not, then I'll do it the next time around if I can.

It looks like conditions will be good for summiting next Wednesday if the skies are clear.

Light snow, and no moon will be visible, so I'm postponing this until tomorrow. It should be mostly sunny to clear then.

This was actually a lot of fun. I might go again on the 29th or 3oth during the next full moon. If the weather is good and winds are light, it isn't very cold out.

To get this off the front page, I changed the date from the updated January 29th hike I planned to do, back to the completed hike on the 31st of December. I still want to do this, and post here if you are interested, but I am no longer 100% sure I will be able to make the hike (weather permitting) due to schedule obligations. I don't think it's right for a group leader to bail because he can't make the hike even if the weather is good for it.
