In the Superstitions, off Forest Service Road 213, (possible trailhead at GPS 33.30.37.18N, 111.18.40.65W) there is a wash to the West that works into a rather impressive looking canyon that leads north at first then travels mostly west. It appears to travel through Mescal Pit Spring, Hells Hole Spring and ultimately ends near Tortilla Flat. Is this an established HAZ hike? If so, what is the name of the hike and the name of the canyon?

Kanode has explored and documented his routes in that area
http://hikearizona.com/location_g.php?L ... ,6644,6652,

He has it listed under Tortilla Creek (Lower) but that starts over by the flats.

The blue line takes off pretty close if not right on your coordinates. Mescal Pit Spring is along the orange line. It's all part of Tortilla Creek so I'd call it Tortilla Canyon myself :D

Right on Joe - great day hike if you like to boulder hop and end up at Tortilla Flat for an afternoon snack.... :y:
