Route GPS mileage missing.

So I posted a route sometime last year. Noted then the miles traveled were not visible, didn't think too much of it, and went on my merry way. Well today I started to dig into it.

Now, It seemed the way points where coming in just fine for miles traveled. We hit the second summit and then suddenly I noted the remaining way points didn't record the miles. It just has "NaN" (not a number) recorded. Chances are my brother may have fiddled with the controls and turned something off. But it seems odd that you can turn off data like that and still record the points, elevation, etc. Is that a normal option for a GPS? To turn off mileage traveled mid way through a track?

This was my first time using the GPS, and it's not mine so I can't review it.

When you post a route with duplicate points it defaults to NaN. This is to let you know that you need to weed out those extra data points that are simply taking up database space. The function to do that is called "Crunch Route". I did it for you just now and it's computing the mileage.

Sweet, thanks Joe! Where was this function located? I clicked on the edit icon next to the mileage to display the individual points. But i didn't see any clickable stuff that said, "Crunch Route". I think i may be in the wrong spot.

You have 28 days to edit the route for database reasons.

I updated that page just now so members aren't left wondering.
