Catalina Backpack for Upcoming Weekend

Looking for a 3-day 20-25 mile trek through the Catalinas. I'm not sure where decent camping locations are other than off the highway, which I would like to avoid if possible. Also, I'm trying to stay low enough to avoid most of the snow and don't want to cross 2 foot deep creeks either. Any ideas?

This is a tall order. Depending on how fast you hike, it could be hard to fill two days that low without hitting crowds. People camp and backpack all over the place up there. If you really want to avoid the crowds I would suggest a different destination.
To avoid the snow and *most* of the popular camp areas you could maybe start from the AZT trailhead near Redington and head in towards Catalina SP. This route has numerous options for ending points and you could alter it to avoid most of the creeks and popular spots...
