Car Camping Stove

Anyone have a recommendation for a 2-burner car camping stove under $125?
Preferably propane but possibly open to benefits of other options.
I've finally given up on my hand-me-down Primus stove that seems to have only three settings--off, medium and high.
My most important criteria is good temperature control. I'm looking for a stove that can maintain a low setting, allowing simmering or simply keeping food warm.
Thanks!

I'll second the two-burner Coleman. Love it for car and rat camping.

Yeah, if they still make 'em like they used to, you can't beat Coleman. Mine is about 25 years old. My dad's is closer to 50, but his is white gas. I miss all the pumping and adjustments.

I still have the white gas one, but haven't used it for awhile. I use my backpacking stove when I go car camping nowadays. The generators and such on the old Coleman would wear out, but you could always buy the parts to replace them. When I was living off the grid in Hawaii, that is mostly what I cooked on. It was always important to keep a spare generator on hand, plus you have to remember to oil the pump thingy. A lot of people who think their stove is broken just have to oil the pump.

I met a guy in Boulder who seemed to make his living repairing discarded or garage-sale Coleman stoves and lanterns. The Boulder Army Store has a vast array of Coleman parts for all vintages. They also have some good deals on backpacking gear.

x5.. This is the best Coleman model to go with:

(The "Insta start" button also serves as a morning alarm clock so you can wake-up the late sleepers in your camp by needing to push this loud button in and out a dozen pumpkin times to ~start the burners!)

I'm still using my Dad's white gas stove with a propane converter. Would buy another Coleman.

I have a volcano II. It will burn charcoal, wood or propane.
