Per Pleasant Valley Ranger Station, Young 928-462-4300: Due to present down trees in roadway and washouts, FR410 is now drivable via high clearance vehicle from Hwy288/FR410 to the FR235 intersection (FR to Billy Lawrence TH). Hot Shot Crews are working on clearing the section of FR410 from this intersection to the Reynolds Crk TH which is now estimated to be an additional 1-2weeks from today-5/12.

Good to know I was thinking about going to Reynolds Crk TH when I get back into town. I don't think there is a back way like A cross Rd. :D How far is the intersection of FR 410/FR 235 from Reynolds TH? May have to just use my feet. :scared:

About 1.5 miles ..Here is the posted FR410 GPS Driving Route for reference: http://hikearizona.com/location_g.php?GPS=7136
(Also, if you have a high clearance 4WD, you can drive in like I'm planning to do via Workman's Creek Road FR487 and access Reynolds Creek TR#150 from its 3.7ml south end at the Murphy Ranch TR#141 TH)

As of 5/26, FR410 has been recently cleared of numerous fallen trees and rocks. FR410 requires a high clearance vehicle and 4WD is highly recommended with upgraded tires. There are about 6 rock beds to drive over and our ride, a stock Toyota 4Runner handled it well just using high range 4WD.

Has anyone driven this road recently and can give any sort of update on the condition of the road?

The hike description states rough, high-clearance, but some past triplogs have mentioned the road being recently graded and smooth. Then again, the recent heavy monsoon rains probably could have battered the road pretty badly, in spite of any possible recent grading this summer.

Any insight?

Thanks!
