Membership roster

Seeing a topic from a new member made us curious once again about the membership roster. Hard to belive that membership topped 2,000 on August 12th! Congrats again Joe on finding such a huge need and filling it so well! Well, we looked for our old topic on membership locations and it's gone. Let's revive the speculation on how many members this site will have by year's end. Seems like 3,000 is a pretty good possibility. What do you think?

J&S

OK--we came back to add some more to this one. Teva Joe has put some bells and whistles in the membership roster since we last looked at it. You can now sort the roster by location and find out there's about 37 members from Flagstaff, for example. Or you can look and see how many are from Frisco, Texas, or New York City, for that matter. Anybosy care to guess how many are from Mesa? Well, it's easy to find out now. Teva Joe, here's a challenge for you: sort most active posters by location! (Like you've really got time for this, eh?) NEVER MIND--we went back to the roster and found a real nifty trick, folks. (It's OK to try this at home!) Go to the membership roster and drop down a menu to sort by posts and then drop down and select "decending." This will show you the top poster--Alpha Dog Teva Joe, of course, and then give you the rank of where you shake out in the scheme of posters, so to speak. Right now, despite most of a summer's absence, we rank #12. Curious? Then go see, quick!

Thanks so much for pointing that out! I can't tell you how many times I wished it was in alpha order and now, WHAMO, I can make that happen. (Is that new, or do I just need to pay closer attention?).

This is a fairly active forum with a lot of good, wide ranging topics and members.

Besides, Kelly would be a lot higher up if she didn't get gyped out of a lot of posts. :o :D Anyway it's not the number you have, it's how much fun you're having.

Sorting by Username has been available, but I agree it's frusterating to get to.

 So... I just added a flat Alpha Index to the bottom of the page
