Im planning another Double Ridgeline for 12/30..last year was awesome and the company was topnotch. I will also set up a single Ridgeline hike from Carney to LDSP with a shuttle still working on that date(early Dec). For the Double most likely start Thurs late afternoon/early evening... cache water/snacks along the way. Hike down siphon and reload water at campground. Stats about 22-23 miles and about 7-7.5K AEG.

Not sure when I'll be down there, but I'll be interested in this if I can get the single ridgeline done beforehand.

In case none of you remember.... he did it by himself last year. I can just imagine the conversations he had with himself! :sl:

@coanbru
I was in contact with Joe via texting until about 3am :D

@hippiepunkpirate
If you don't do it beforehand....you can always park at LDSP and I'll shuttle you over to Carney and you could do a one way.

Cool, thanks, I'll keep that in mind...December is a long way away so I won't know for a while...

Bob, you'd like these INCH characters I'm trying to meet up with in the Bay Area.

@Jim Lyding
INCH = less talk, more walk...its not a hike unless someone gets lost :scared: ....no thanks.
I adhere to HAZ principles...have fun,train,meet people,hike to great places,bleed (if your name is Eagle),blister(Liz),learn,teach, spoon hike (if your name is Joe),bring great sky (Frick),spend too much time here(Me and others), and most of all make fun of Joe ;) .

Is this the one about Joe, the midget, the priest and the prostitute?

Sounds interesting. I have done many variations of the Ridgeline over the years - the biggest being looping back on Lost Goldmine instead of shuttling - but never as an out and back.

Whenever someone talks about a "double ridgeline" I now automatically get the "double rainbow" song stuck in my head. Does this happen to anyone else? :)
