Rogers Canyon water supplies?

Its starting to cool off so time to get out and hike! I'm planning a over night hike in Rogers Canyon, most likely to Angel Basin for the night then back to Rogers trail head. Thinking about the beginning of October but have never been into the canyon. Are there reliable water sources along the path? Or has anybody been up there lately or around October? Any info to help plan for trip would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I've camped near the ruins and used that trail to access Circlestone. I forget the time of year offhand for those trips, but I do recall small stream crossings on the trail leading out to the ruins. I'm guessing they were perennial, but might want to take a look at the Rogers hike description.

It's drier in the fall; bone dry a couple years ago in November.

Depending on any rain we may have before your hike, check in the Rogers' drainage just upstream of the ruins for pools.
There is a reliable source at the junction of Rogers' Canyon & Fish Creek , it's actually just downstream of the confluence in Fish. Yes, it's out-of-the-way from your route, but it's an option. There may even be water in Rogers' Canyon on the way down from Angel Basin. It's about 1.75 miles one-way to the confluence from Angel Basin.

Sometimes there's water, other times it's dry as a bone. Please post a water report after your trip, it would be greatly appreciated.

Planning a trip this weekend back into Rogers Canyon. A friend of mine has never seen ruins before, figured this would be a good first time backpack for him. After all, it was mine. :D We want to camp at Angel Basin and was wondering of anybody has made it up that way this year. Just mainly if there is any water. Don't really feel like packing 15 pounds of water in like last time.

There's a bunch of us going on the Trans-Supes hike wondering the same thing. I haven't seen any reports from there recently, but hopefully someone will post a water report soon...
