We lost our beloved cat of 15 years today. Her name is Traxx. We would greatly appreciate it if you would burn a candle and wish her well on her journey. Thank you and God Bless.

Sorry for your loss Kim. I think of my life for the last 15 years and how often our cats are part of that history.

Sorry to hear about your recent loss Kim. When my cat Rocky(18 years) departed a year and a half ago I was big time bummin to say the least. Last Christmas my wife found a look-alike at the Humane Society and called me at work. At first I said no, but ended up telling her that if she thought the cat was indeed a "Rocky" to go ahead and get him. I really didn't think that would happen. Strange thing; he is almost the splitting image right down to the smallest of details. He has truly filled the void. I can only say it's a God thing. I hope something works to fill the void in your life.

Kim,

 So sorry to hear about your loss. I know sometimes it seems like our furry friends are our only true friends and their loss is profound. Thanks for letting us know so that we can share your grief and hopefully make you feel better.

Kelly

Ok, I have two cats myself. They went through "hell, and high water" with me in my life. I still remember the "jaunt" down here from Chicago. Troopers to the extreme. I just wish they liked to hike a bit more. :)

Anyone hear of a cat going "trailing". I'm curious...

I throw a "new" challenge to you Kim...

I have a friend who used to have a cat that was a great hiker. I swear, this cat was a dog in disguise. We'd hike in the forest up around Prescott, and this cat would do brodies around us, go off investigating things, come back and trot alongside us, everything just like a dog. Poor little guy is no longer with us, but he was proof that it can happen.

Kim:

Just remember that Traxx had a good full life in a loving home, and is in an even better place now.

It is very hard when a good cat or dog passes on. Very hard.

Tom, I once had a black skinny cat named Spyder who used to hike through the woods with me. He would go a couple of miles with no problem.
