Table Mesa Cleanup - Nov 6th, 2010

Hello Hike Arizona! This is AZ-Ted (AzTed on this board), and I'm helping organize a large scale desert cleanup of the Table Mesa Recreation Area on November 6th, 2010 from 9:00am - 1:00pm. This area is heavily used by many different types of desert recreationists (hikers, mountain bikers, 4x4s, ATVs/UTVs, dirt bikes, target shooters, etc.). Unfortunately, not everyone packs out what they pack in, so we are joining together to clean the trails and camping areas. So far, there are over 200 desert recreationists on board with this cleanup. It would be really cool if some of the folks from Hike Arizona could come out as well.
If you attend the cleanup, please wear closed toe shoes, and bring gloves, water, and sunscreen. Lunch will be provided at the end of the cleanup, and several local companies have donated items for the giveaway to be held during lunch. Each volunteer will receive a ticket to the giveaways when they check in.
