what's your opinion on CO's roughest summit hikes, not climbs. Has anyone hiked Mount Kilimanjaro? Ive skiied many mountains in CO and hiked mountains between 12-13 thousand feet in elevation, would going to 14-15 increased risk for any time of AMS?

Kilimanjaro is in Africa, not Colorado. ;)
Having never hiked a single summit in Colorado I can't really answer the question. I couldn't help and chime in with my useless bit of jerkery, though. All in good fun.

drifting up to 14,000' is not going to increase your risk.... could hit anytime, typically above 11,000'... not all that common, but be aware of symptoms and simply head downhill if they begin to occur.

Oh, and if you find that 15,000'er, let me know... I'd like to do that one.

Sure, exposing onself to elevations exceeding 12000 feet could be a problem for many, but usually not a serious one. Which Colorado mountains above 14000 feet are you interested in? I am knowledgable of them all.
