Has your sign changed? The new Zodiac chart:
Capricorn: January 20 to February 16
Aquarius: February 16 to March 11
Pisces: March 11 to April 18
Aries: April 18 to May 13
Taurus: May 13 to June 21
Gemini: June 21 to July 20
Cancer: July 20 to August 10
Leo: August 10 to September 16
Virgo: September 16 to October 30
Libra: October 30 to November 23
Scorpio: November 23 to November 29
Ophiuchus: November 29 to December 17
Sagittarius: December 17 to January 20
I am now an Ophiuchus, serpent bearer. It seems the stars changed like 2000 years ago and nobody has bothered to update this till now....
Does anybody know how to pronounce this sign? I can't seem to get Opie Chuncus out of my head.

Astrology! Ha! I remember when someone who was really into Astrology would try to tell me that my sign (born September 2) was really me and how important this stuff was for me. "The Description of a Virgo is really spot on for you", they would tell me. Now, I guess I must be a spot on Leo?

In the type of broad generalization that gets people in trouble I would have guessed that the kind of people who enjoy hiking also think that astrology and horoscopes are a bunch of crap?

Ophiuchus in the Planetary Zodiac:
The planet Pluto was found in Ophiuchus until the end of 2003, after which it passed into Serpens Cauda, the Serpent's Tail. The Centaur object, the minor planetoid Chiron, was visible against the stars of Ophiuchus until November 2001, after which it passed over the border into Sagittarius. Venus and Mercury can be found in Ophiuchus for a time each year.

Hum...interesting. Now a Pices, was an Aries.
My wife is into all this stuff, and I don't sound like a Pices. I think I will stay an Aries.

@Patrick L Google came up empty. Several results did indicated the signs were set 2000 years ago.
From Sagittarius I moved to Ophiuchus at the top of this thread to Scorpio on
this one. Sounds like an identity crisis

When ever I tell someone I am into Astronomy they say ..what is your sign?.... I have a tshirt that says "it is As tron omy not As trol ogy.. Same with someone when I say I like paleontology they say... I found some pottery once...

There was a cool article in a issue of either Sky and Telescope or Astronomy magazine about the new Jetology.. It determined your "fortune" by how many jets were taking off at the time you were born and which direction they were going and what color and where they were from... This would dictate how your life was going to be....

..It's the ology part that throws people off.
