Making a change from the previous post on this. Going out to the Parker Creek area in the Sierra Anchas with my neighbor Marty. We'll park at the TH along 288, hike up to Aztec Peak and do a lasso loop on the trails there. Not sure what the trails numbers and names are at this point as I've never been out there yet. Leaving Mesa at 5:30am.

that hike is awesome! I wish I could go that day...

I'm kind of surprised that it hasn't got much interest so far.

maybe its because the event list has disappeared from the main HAZ page... What's up with that?

That was the hike some of us did because you had to cancel/postpone your Pine Canyon hike due to your shoulder injury. You won't be disappointed.

I've heard alot about it, just haven't been in the mood for the long drive out and back. Seems like a good time to do it. Marty is familiar with it, so that should be a bonus.

You doing just the upper 3 rappels or continuing on and doing all 5 rappels?

I decided that only my 2 lower limbs would carry me on my outdoors adventures after that Devils Chasm jaunt we did.
