Interstate 10 east of Tucson to close overnight April 8
Closure between SR 83 and SR90 to remove old Marsh Station Bridge The Arizona
Department of Transportation will close both directions of Interstate 10 east of
Tucson and west of Benson from 9 p.m. April 8 until 7 a.m. April 9 to provide a
safe work zone for the removal of the old Marsh Station Bridge.
The closure will take place between State Route 83 east of Tucson (Exit 281) and
SR 90 near Benson (Exit 302) to allow crews to remove the bridge.
During the demolition project, motorists will be guided by signs through a
67-mile detour around the closure. Drivers can expect up to two hours of
additional travel time. ADOT strongly advises avoiding this segment of I-10
during the closure.
