Another good night

It was another good night for seeing wildlife on Squaw Peak this evening. I saw my ringtail buddy again, but this time there were three of him. I figure there's a lot more up there. One was very bold and came right to me looking for a handout.

We also saw a couple of small kangaroo rats, and a woodrat also known as a pack rat.
I also saw my second rattlesnake I have seen in the park, first time I've seen a tiger rattlesnake since 1987. It was Linda's first rattler ever. He was only about thirty inches or so and very docile.

Keep your eyes open out there, even here in the city.

Hey GTG,
WTG with the photos, what kinda camera are you using? I've been hauling along a Kodak digital latley, and the pic's don't seem to come out that clear. More then likley the photographers fault then the camera's.

thanks!

church, thanks and welcome to HAZ. I use a Kodak DC3500. It's not the greatest, but it does what I want it to do. What you don't see is the other twenty shots that I didn't like. From the looks of your avatar you look elbow deep in some decent equipment there. I only hope that you can get away from the computers and hike as much as I would like to.

Thanks for the welcome GTG,
I work for a school district, and get the weekends, not to mention lots of holidays and spring and summer breaks, to have fun and break away from the race. The work is just the means of reaching the goals.

Great pics GTG, even those with good cameras should head that advise. With me it is the other 70 shots you don't see. :D

As Promised.... My panorama pics. It turns out that I didnt have enough overlap between a few of the shots, so i had to make 2 seperate strips.

I suppose with practice, I will get better. Its tough to judge it thru the viewfinder especially in bright sunshine.

Here is the pic
The program works good, the photographer needs a little polishing. :x

not bad
