Word has it that you are on the mend, and hiking again after being, shall we say, indisposed for some time for health reasons. Nothing like a hike to get one healthy again. I hope that this is the path to full recovery. The Grand Canyon wouldn't be the same without you.
Congratulations to a HAZer, and Feliz Senderas!

GRIN Thanks AZ. The women from this group got me started. I went on a one mile hike with them--I figured anybody that could walk at all could go one mile. Anyway, it got me started. Next Robert and I went to North Canyon and then Salt Water Wash and then Horseshoe Mesa. These three mile hikes with good elevation are making my legs strong again--they were starting to melt!!
way to go!

Not sure whether you've ever smoked before, but I know that leg-burn. I am getting back into the best shape I have ever been in. Hiking the "cardio hills" around here is just what the doctor ordered. I am averaging 6-10 mile hikes now every weekend at least once without much effort.
Keep it up. It gets easier from there.

GC is next obviously.
You gotta love it.
