I was doing some research on the AZT and noticed this...

ATA Trail Director
The Arizona Trail Association is pleased to announce that Shawn Redfield has accepted the Trail Director position for the ATA. The Trail Director will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the ATA’s and Arizona Trail’s trail building and preservation efforts. Shawn will work closely with ATA and land managing agency volunteers and staff to provide a quality trail and trail experience, and comply with National Scenic Trail requirements.
Shawn, a long time trail volunteer, has recently hiked the entire Arizona Trail. Shawn can be contacted at traildirector"at"aztrail.org.

Congrats Shawn : app : : app : : app : : app : : app :

Shawn - I see you "retirement" was really just a "sabatical". Congrats and see you out on the AZT! ;)
