CO Bound July 16-23 - Play along at home

I'm leading my group of 8 vehicles and 15 people around the Telluride/Ouray area for the week. It'll be a 50/50 offroad/backpacking split but I know there will only be about 5 of us participating in the latter.

Anyway, a friend and I set up some dorky A/V fun for our journey with a site displaying real-time photos, live videos, and APRS tracking.
My weather permitting hopeful itinerary is on the right with legs like the Alpine Loop and Ice Lakes Basin.

Live site is here: http://www.higherground4x4.com/live/ and fresh content begins Saturday (obviously dependent upon service).
Hopefully it'll be classy without too much man nipple but we're all big dumb animals so...

What a cool idea! I'll be "playing along at home" wishing I was there with. Thanks!

Made it safe. Eating at the brewery in Silverton.
You can barefoot hike in CO, the bushes and ground and grass and the trees don't bite like AZ.
The live streaming's been fun so far :)

I love walking through the neighborhood back streets in Silverton. It probably wouldn't be so fun in winter.

Hi from Tom Boy townsite and camp.
Silverton Brewery: service great - food was worthless. Ate lunch in Telluride at Llama Grill. Very Very good burgers.
So far, Lost a unit bearing, short shaft, an ignition coil, ran out of gas, flat tire, losing a transmission, had to winch out of the snow, wind blew a tent into the creek and was gone just like that, hailed on at Island Lake. I think God wants me to stay in CO and I'm perfectly ok with that :)
