Lake Tahoe Rim Trail GPS tracking

I just registered for this site so bear with me as I stumble around trying to participate.

I found a post here to the Lake Tahoe Rim Trail (CA-Nevada) which is something that I just started
in a section hike of 20 miles last Friday. (lots of snow to cross !)

Can someone help me understand how to extract the GPS waypoints / datapoints so I can
download them into my GPS ? We were constantly searching for the trail all day because
of the snow and it really was time consuming.

Here is the link to the page that I found:

http://hikearizona.com/map.php?GPS=9231&P=1

Thanks in advance. Hoping to accomplish this before next Friday !

This GPS track with data points (845) is not an actual field hiked data track but rather is a traced track to be used for reference until someone is able to post an actual hiked field data track for this ~154 mile loop. As long as you understand this, downloading and using it should be more useful than not having one at all but at 154 miles and only 845 data points = only ~5.5 points per mile which may be a little risky for depending on to hike on snow covered trail.

For download, when you open the Tahoe Rim Trail link you reference: look just below the small pic on left side and right below this pic and above the "845 points" you will see a "down arrow", just click on this arrow and select your preferred option for download. :)

I would think the GPS track would be available from these folks:

but don't see a link right off. Maybe contact them?

Just returning to this website .... a bit late :)

I've completed the entire Tahoe Rim Trail by section.

Now I'm looking at the Arizona Trail as a through hike...all 800 miles.
