Dutchman's Trail log has no AEG listed

Anyone know the AEG if you hike Dutchman's from Peralta to 1st water? I have looked over many triplogs and can't find anyone who did what we did back in January and also posted the AEG. We followed as closely as we could what the map says is the route of the Dutchman's Trail. It's around 17.6 to 18.8 miles total, depending upon whose GPS you are trusting.
I am trying to update my stats for 2011.

There is a wonderful database of Superstition trail GPS tracks on the web that were taken by HAZ members kanode and GPSJoe among others and published out of Utah State (i think). This a treasure for a certified data geek like me, and is very useful for getting good estimates of distance and AEG. My Excel spreadsheet puts Peralta to FW as 18.49 miles and 3264 ft AEG. This is a track of 3034 points, so the estimates should be pretty good.

Thank you! Do the rest of you concur with this? Can this be added to the data on the original hike write-up for that trail? I don't hike in that area very often, but I did do the entire trail in one day on Jan 2. Right now I am trying to post all my data (from my calendar, etc., etc.) which I never got around to posting since January, and this is a big chuck of AEG I would like to add. Joe, do you have an opinion?

3264 seems like too much to me, but it's spread over quite a distance. I'll have to see what the map says.

I agree, and will change my triplog if someone can figure it out.

Well, actually, I changed it to match what someone said was more accurate. I think my GPS reads high. (I need to go in and check the settings.) I had originally put on this triplog that it was 19 point something, but just the other day I changed that. (Messed me up on the stats page, lowered my overall mileage, but oh well.)

AWWWwwwwwww!

Thanks! : queen :
I am signed up for this Point Huitzil thing, with (I call him) "Vista Numbers" (Paul from Vista CA). The best way I know to get ready for it is to hike hike hike. So, then I noticed that by doing that, and posting the hikes, I was rising on the stats page (and truthfully, I had never noticed that page before). I had not hiked much at all this past spring or early summer. Spring was full time work and full time school. Summer was the Wallow Fire, I was in Eagar, and riding my bicycle around town instead of hiking, then I went on the long river trip. Excuses, excuses. So, now I'm trying for being in the top 50 HAZ hikers. But I'm not quite there yet. Almost, not quite.
Oh, that reminds me, I still have to figure out the miles and elev for all the little side hikes in Grand Canyon I did from the river, and post them! ;)
