What do you use for a chair?

I've used an aluminum tripod-chair for a few years now and have no complaints, but most of my buddies are more minimalistic than I and use like a foam pad to sit on. What kind of chair do you all backpack with?

I used to take nothing when my bones were younger. Now I take a slinglight if my pack is light or two sections of a z-rest if I need to keep the weight down. A slinglight is really great if you like to spend the day reading. When I use the two sections of a z-rest I fold them the wrong way and use my pack for a back rest.

Frameless packs I lay my poncho on the ground or a small hand towell. My frame packs I may use either the poncho, hand towel, garden knee pad or the small thermarest seat cushion. The thermarest seat cushion and the garden knee pad fit inside my pack frame and are also used as a back pad.

I use a little aluminum tripod stool that I found in a gift shop at Yellowstone. It's pretty beat up and patched many times, but it works great and is very very light. It wraps up into about the size of a rolled up topo map.

My sleeping pad is a 3/4 length therm-a-rest...which when paired with a crazy creek chair laid flat makes for the perfect length ridgerest/sleeping pad....thus my excuse for the crazy creek chair...I gotta tell ya...I love it!

I have been backpacking for a while and I have used all sorts of folding chairs and foram pads, but in the end I have always found that my butt works as well as anything else. If the ground is cold I sit on my rolled up sleeping bag.
