Overblown news stories and clueless talking heads

So I read this comment in another thread

and I thought it would be inappropriate to add it there. But I saw a video online today, and it totally mirrors my view on this subject.
Caution: It includes some salty PG-13 language that would definitely be pumpkined in the HAZ forum.
