I've had a spot open up on my Gems backpacking trip in the big ditch this month. We're leaving from the S. Bass Trailhead (we've got a shuttle) on 2/23 and coming out Hermit on 2/27. Experienced canyon hikers only, pretty please. We've got 4 very strong hikers and me so far. ;)

So, if you're feeling crazy, insane, or even just a little weird - maybe you want to come along?

Clearly I need to move a bit closer... I would sooooooo like to go on this hike.

I got a taker - autumnstars jumped in to help out even more with a little estrogen on the adventure ;)

With rain in the forecast for most of this week, I'm hoping that the water issue will be a non-issue

Hopefully. I've done those trips where you have to carry 3 gallons of water and ration every ounce of it, and it is just not that fun.
