I received this notice from the Mogollon Rim Ranger District, and thought it may be of interest!
Now that the trail is complete the Forest Service is looking for public input to generate ideas on how to maintain and mange the trail in the future. Several workshops in different areas of Arizona are being held to help us generate ideas on how to improve and maintain the trail. Please see the attached document for further information and thank you for your interest. Happy Hiking!
The Arizona Trail Workshops will be held:
3/12 Tucson
3/13 Superior
3/14 Payson
3/15 Flagstaff

All the details are in the attached PDF.

For what it's worth, I checked with......

Laura J. White

..... to see if they had plans to have a session in the Phoenix area. She said they had no plans.
At the same time I gave her some input / suggestions from my experience on the AZT. She was very appreciative.
If any of you have Questions/Comments/Concerns/ and most of all suggestions for the AZT, I urge you to send her an Email.
