Anyone had a vehicle out on this road lately? I need to get to where the AZT turn off it to west. Thanks

How soon do you need to know? I'll find out and be able to post the conditions by tomorrow evening.
Tracey has a day off tomorrow and we planned to be out there doing the pretty much the same thing... driving north along 422 a bit before hiking an out-and-back along that section of the AZT. Knowing the conditions could be bad after the heavy rains we'll be taking the Samurai.

Resurrecting this old thread . . .
We were out there today to replace the stolen junction sign. The elements have not been kind to this road; an hour and forty-five minutes for the 9 miles from the junction with FR143 to where the AZT drops off into Boulder Canyon. The lifted 4Runner was in granny low most of the way. Many rock crawls, ditch staddles and deep dips. We would not have gone if we knew how rough it is. The 4x4 and ATV crowd will probably love it but not a fun day for us.
