It's funny they haven't posted this on their website yet. Or their Twitter feed. I'm not really a twitterer, but isn't that sort of the point of it? Disseminate information quickly?

AZCentral.com is reporting the same fire restrictions
http://www.azcentral.com/travel/article ... rests.html
Looks like BLM Western, Coronado National Monument and Chiricahua National Monument getting in on the Stage 1 restrictions

Looks like the AZ Daily Sun got press releases from Coconino and Kaibab National Forests. Will probably show up on InciWeb and twitter soon. Nothing is faster than HAZ.

As of today, Tonto, Prescott, Kaibab, Coconino, and Coronado National Forests are under fire restrictions. Apache-Sitgreaves restrictions begin Friday morning. State parks and BLM already have restrictions in place meaning that there's pretty much nowhere in the state where you may have a fire right now (developed campgrounds with a host excluded in some cases). The tribal lands have not posted anything yet either so it's possible that burning is still allowed at Hawley lake, etc. but I would call them and ask if you are headed that way.

"No restrictions are in place on the North Kaibab Ranger District."

Is North Kaibab really considered Arizona? Seems more like Utah to me. :GB:

How about we just take it upon ourselves to realize its a bad idea to have fires right now instead of searching for the last place in Arizona where it might be legal? I'm backpacking this weekend and wouldn't be having a fire even if there weren't restrictions.

Fire Restrictions on the Coconino National Forest will be lifted at 8:00 am on Wednesday, July 18, 2016. You will be able to use your chainsaw anytime during the day after Wednesday.
Fire restrictions have already been lifted on the A-S.
Waiting to hear from the other forests...
update: Prescott also lifts on Wednesday. Coronado lifted effective today, and Kaibab a couple of days ago.
Only Tonto remains under restrictions at this time.

So are campfires allowed now, or just opened for visitation?

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it already, but Grand Canyon National Park lifted the fire ban a few days ago ... so come on up and buy your firewood, charcoal, marshmallows, etc. at the General Store!

I believe the only closure areas were on the Tonto, and nothing has been rescinded there yet. Camp fires are allowed everywhere else.
Fossil Creek is still closed, (I believe even on the Coconino side), but I expect it will open when Tonto lifts their closures.

Tonto is now reporting that the forest closure will be lifted at 8am tomorrow. It is not clear if fire restrictions will also be lifted. Similarly not clear is if the fossil creek area will also open.
Tonto isn't really that good at communicating with the public...

PHOENIX (July 24, 2011) – All campfire, smoking, and target shooting restrictions affecting the Tonto National Forest are being lifted, effective 8 a.m., Wednesday, July 25.
I'm pretty sure that means that most public lands in Arizona are now free of seasonal fire restrictions.
National Forests do prohibit the use of fireworks or incendiary ammunition
at all times, so there are always
some restrictions that need to be adhered to. [-X

While this means they are free of the seasonal FIRE restrictions, I believe the area west of 87 from Sycamore Creek to Mt Peeley area is still under restricted access due to flash flood danger as a result of the Sunflower fire. That restriction will either be lifted August 31 or I suppose sooner if they feel the monsoon danger is about over for the season.

The flooding danger closure is until July 31, as discussed here:
