I'll start with:

Any half-Spanish, half-English place name is in danger of being redundant.

Why is that? There were native American languages in use here before, but there aren't redundant native-American and English names (as far as I know). Unless "Hon-Dah" is Apache for "Casino"?

Nah. It probably means "ripoff" or "runaway corruption" or something.

Actually, "Hon-Dah" means - One who is bad at math.

Knowing how Apaches name things, I think Hon Dah means White People Infested Wikiup.
On a side note, my childhood friend belongs to The Fly Infested Soup People clan, Doshdo'e.
It's something I frequently remind her of.

Rillito River..little river river...I cheated though ......Wikipedia. there are lots of examples but most are in other countrys.
